Alyssa Lampson is a Master’s‑level Clinical Mental Health Counseling student completing her graduate internship with EMDR Therapy Solutions & Wellness.
She is currently pursuing her degree at Grand Canyon University, with an expected graduation in 2027. Alyssa brings a strong academic foundation and meaningful hands‑on experience supporting children, adolescents, individuals, and families in behavioral health settings. Her background includes providing 1:1 and group‑based support, implementing behavior intervention plans, and collaborating closely with caregivers to promote client progress.
Alyssa understands that beginning therapy can feel overwhelming, especially for young clients and families who may be navigating anxiety, depression, emotional regulation challenges, or unhelpful coping patterns. She strives to create a supportive, safe, and developmentally appropriate therapeutic environment where clients feel understood, validated, and empowered to grow.
Her approach is client‑centered, trauma‑informed, and grounded in evidence‑based practices. She integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), strengths‑based interventions, and behavioral strategies to meet each client’s unique needs and help them build coping skills, improve emotional regulation, strengthen communication, and make meaningful, lasting changes.
Alyssa works with children, adolescents, individuals, and families, supporting a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, emotional regulation difficulties, addictive habits, behavioral challenges, family dynamics, and developmental concerns. She is committed to meeting clients where they are and helping them move toward greater confidence, resilience, and emotional well‑being.
Outside of her clinical work, Alyssa finds grounding through movement and mindfulness. She enjoys attending sculpt and yoga classes, starting her mornings with a good cup of coffee, and taking peaceful walks. She loves spending time with her Maine Coon cat and her mini Goldendoodle, and she values simple routines that help her stay balanced, energized, and connected.
