Alyssa is a Master’s‑level Clinical Mental Health Counseling student completing her graduate internship with EMDR Therapy Solutions & Wellness. She brings a warm, grounded, and compassionate presence to her work, helping clients feel safe, understood, and supported from the very first session.

Alyssa has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in behavioral health settings, where she provided both 1:1 and group support. She has collaborated closely with caregivers, implemented behavior intervention plans, and helped clients build emotional regulation skills, healthy coping strategies, and confidence in their daily lives.

Alyssa understands that starting therapy can feel intimidating—especially for young clients or families navigating anxiety, depression, emotional regulation challenges, or stressful life transitions. Her goal is to make therapy feel approachable and empowering. She creates a developmentally appropriate, trauma‑informed environment where clients can explore their experiences at their own pace.

Her therapeutic approach is client‑centered and evidence‑based. She integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), strengths‑based interventions, and behavioral strategies to help clients improve emotional regulation, reduce anxiety, strengthen communication, and make meaningful, lasting changes.

Alyssa works with children, teens, adults, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, emotional regulation difficulties, addictive habits, behavioral challenges, family conflict, and developmental concerns. She is committed to meeting clients exactly where they are and supporting them in building resilience, confidence, and emotional well‑being.

Outside of her clinical work, Alyssa enjoys movement and mindfulness practices, sculpt and yoga classes, peaceful morning routines, and spending time with her Maine Coon cat and mini Goldendoodle.
